Pietro Torti Fagù

As a company dedicated entirely to small, independent producers who give a shit about the land, we are thrilled to share Fagù. Crafted by the generational hands at Pietro Torti, this 100% Chardonnay is an honest, vibrant snapshot of the Oltrepò Pavese terroir.

The grapes for Fagù are harvested from vines planted in 1994 at an elevation of 360 meters, ensuring excellent natural acidity and aromatics. Pouring a beautiful straw yellow, the wine opens up with intense, captivating aromas of crisp apple and wild peach. On the palate, it is incredibly fresh, fruit-forward, and boasts a wonderfully lingering persistence.

This is an artisanal white wine that doesn't hide behind heavy oak or modern winemaking tricks. It is pure, expressive, and deeply rooted in its place of origin. Serve it perfectly chilled (10-12°C) alongside dishes like cod and raisin ravioli, or simply enjoy a glass knowing it supports a completely independent, earth-conscious winery.
